How often have you noticed the similar patterns found in nature? Geometry had its roots in the observations of plants, flowers and the stars. The circular pattern of the sunflower is repeated in many places. Look to the nautilus shell, the eyes of the pineapple, the Milky Way and the spiral form of the hurricane. Each one follows a mathematical formula known as the Golden Mean. The technological advances of high speed computers found patterns in what were thought to be haphazard groupings. It seems that even chaos has a mathematical formula to describe it. Many now view geometry as the organizing structure of the universe. This is why many refer to these amazing shapes and forms as sacred geometry.
